Pathway Models for Reaffirmation of Accreditation

HLC maintains processes for determining eligibility for accreditation, for achieving candidacy status, for achieving initial accreditation, and for maintaining accreditation. HLC currently offers three programs for maintaining accreditation: the Academic Quality Improvement Program (AQIP) Pathway, Standard Pathway, and Open Pathway. The college was approved for the HLC Open Pathway process for reaffirmation of accreditation in 2013.

Open Pathway

The Open Pathway is a ten-year accreditation cycle that consist of an Assurance Review, Quality Initiative, and Comprehensive Evaluation Visit. To learn more about each of the processes within the Open Pathway, please click on the areas below.
